At DMS, we are happy to collaborate with clients that bring their own design ideas to the table. We were fortunate to work with the staff of Child Roots who have fantastic ideas of how to make a spaces fun, comfortable, and well organized. In this renovation we worked with Child Roots to help turn a cramped, dark former restaurant space into a pleasant environment of creative learning for children. Most of the low gypsum board ceilings were removed to expose the high wood roof structure, which in combination with several skylights, good colors and kid friendly finishes make the spaces warm, fun and welcoming.
