DMS provided the design for the Breakside Brewery when it moved into the DMS owned Dekum Corner development (see separate project entry), creating an ideal environment for their NW cuisine and unique microbrews. The rustic character from the original 1910 bakery has been preserved by restoring the exposed roof framing, concrete floors and pyramid skylight. New materials including glass and steel railings, stained cement board, Glulam beam stairs, metal windows, and glazed overhead doors enhance the palette to create a dynamic space with an industrial edge.
